BLACK Artist Edition #19 feat. DEMS333, aka DEMSKY J., aka DEMS from the ‘Ultra Boyz’ crew! DEMSKY was born in 1997 in the Spanish city of Elche. As a child, he developed a taste for pop culture and would later turn the images and experiences of his younger years into a library of inspiration for his contemporary take on graffiti.

What he himself did not realize at the time is that the same graffiti art would grow into a unique visual vocabulary that the artist himself calls NEOFVTVRISM. His love for the 80s and 90s fueled the artwork he is most known for today.
The choice for BLK 5080 Ultramarine was probably an obvious one. Almost the artist’s “CI”, it can be seen on practically all of his current works. In an ironic twist of fate, his futuristic design will immediately take the step from available in the future to prized in the past, as the cans find their way into the collections of fans around the world. For nearly thirty years, the work has been van DEMSKY as a way to refer back to the video game and arcade culture of the 80’s and 90’s, and discovered all that came with it. His research not only made him reflect on his childhood, but also took him around the world in search of the origin of these images. It also allowed him to empty as many Montana BLACK and Montana GOLD cans as possible in the process.
