Buy your new favourite rulers online at Suitup Art Supplies. Suitup is the right place for all your creative supplies! You’ll find all sorts of rulers for different purposes, from scale rulers to standard 30cm rulers, geodesics and even flexible rulers.
A ruler is a very useful tool for measuring things and drawing straight lines. This makes them ideal for various creative processes. Do you want a basic ruler as an aid to drawing? Then a plastic ruler or geodesic is fine. If you like to make stencil art or cut other things with a ruler, an aluminium ruler is recommended. When making technical drawings, a geodesic or scale is really indispensable.
Geodesic triangles are rectangular, equilateral triangles. They contain a ruler face with centimetre graduations and a zero point in the middle. They also have lines parallel to the ruler side, a middle line drawn perpendicular to the ruler side and a protractor. Thus, you can use a geodesic to measure angles and draw lines that are parallel to each other.
A scale stick contains six different scales. A scale stick is elongated and has a triangular shape. It is a useful tool when making technical drawings and when working with textiles.
