Winsor & Newton's India ink is used primarily by artists, hobbyists, and beginners for illustration, design, and calligraphy. The ink is intensely black and has excellent transparency. The ink dries very quickly which is ideal if you want to apply several layers on top of each other. You can dilute the ink with a little water for a more transparent color. The ink is not water resistant.
